Submissions and Reports

Through individual client work, group training sessions and data collection the NT Working Women's Centre is in a good position to identify where change is needed for women in the NT on work related issues. The NT Working Women's Centre also provides policy advice to Government and other agencies as well as comment to the media.

The NT Working Women's Centre often prepares submissions in conjunction with Working Women's Centres interstate, to send advice to Government public inquiries on such things as paid maternity leave, industrial relations legislation, national employment standards, sex discrimination, pay equity and economic opportunities or barriers for women.
